Today I went to Birmingham for a street photography session hosted by Jessops, Fujifilm and award winning wedding photographer Kevin Mullins. It was an informative session with Kevin talking about his methods for shooting both street photography and weddings. He also went over his post production process after a practical demonstration/shooting session outside. Thanks to both Kevin and Liz from Fuji for answering all of my questions and giving me the chance to try out the new 16-55mm 2.8 zoom lens (which I don't think I'm going to buy just yet, as handy as it may be, I think I prefer using my primes).
None of the below images are from the session, as I only shot one image then that I kinda liked. These were all taken beforehand while I killed some time and actually ended up killing too much time, as I got the start time wrong and was late! Anyway, while a little less grand in scale than some of the architecture featured in the last post, here's a few shots from a wander round Birmingham city centre.
